It is free, needs no account and shows no ads.

## How it works

Every generator runs in your browser. The word lists, name patterns, puns, powers and syllables were all written for this site; the page combines them at random on your device. Nothing you type, such as the word you add to a team name or the network name you check, is sent anywhere. Saved names are kept in your browser's local storage on this device, and you can clear them at any time.

The fantasy names come from six peoples invented for the site, not from any real language. The Wi-Fi checker counts bytes the way the Wi-Fi standard does and points to its source on the page. Everything else is just for fun, so please check a name is not already in use before you print it on anything.

## Who is behind it

Noodle Parade is one of a small family of independent tool sites, listed as sister sites at the bottom of every page. There is no company, newsletter or sign-up behind it, just the generators.
